The BMSD'18 sessions will be held in Auditorium Gallery, at WU Vienna, situated at Welthandelsplatz 1, 1020 Vienna, Austria. This is the new campus of the university (since 2013), designed by international renowned architects inspired by the concept of openness - this can be 'sensed' by students, employees, and visitors in any of the new WU buildings and open areas.

It has taken around four years to build the modern WU campus in an area between Messe Wien (the biggest trade fair in Austria) and the Wiener Prater (the most famous amusement park in Vienna), featuring seven building complexes spanning over 100 000 square meter and including modern lecture halls, study rooms and several libraries. The open areas are attractive as well, divided into smaller units by platforms, lawns, water surfaces, and promenades. All around there are spacious seating areas that are excellent for studying, working or just relaxing. And last but not least: economic, ecological, and social sustainability aspects were reflected in the campus design (it is curious mentioning that bees are living on the rooftop of one of the WU buildings, for example).
